The Pittsburgh Business Times published an article about the formation of the Pennsylvania Energy Infrastructure Alliance, a partnership formed by the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, Delaware Chamber of Commerce, Laborers International Union of North America, and Local 66 of the International Union of Operating Engineers. The alliance highlights the direct and indirect benefits of pipeline infrastructure in Pennsylvania.
In the article, Jeff Kotula, the Washington County chamber president, noted, “The commonwealth of Pennsylvania has seen powerful economic growth with the development of natural gas resources that have attracted new investment, new industries, and untold benefits. When properly designed, built, and maintained, new infrastructure projects will bring benefits to consumers and the communities where they live, workers, and businesses across the state.”
