Bernie Puzzuole, President and CEO of Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce, stresses the importance of pipelines to energy independence, underscoring that “pipelines are key to the future of energy. You have to get the product where it needs to be.”
According to a recent piece in the Standard Speaker, experts in the energy industry market has “in order for Pennsylvania Marcellus Shale gas to be an asset, pipelines have to be built to get the gas to market.”
Puzzuole expands upon this, explaining that this is the central issue at hand with energy infrastructure projects in Pennsylvania, where “It has taken a while, but now we can be energy independent. The source is the Shale product – but the key will be the pipelines to get that shale product where it needs to go.”
